When to book a Flight to Chicago

We hope to travel to Chicago next June. When is the best time to book flights? At the moment for 2 return Are Lingus want about €1600. American Airlines want €1275

On ebookers.ie in June, the prices I see are well under €600, with some flights being direct depending on the exact dates.
