Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Slightly increased battery life? 225 compared to 250 I think?

  • Moderators, Regional East Moderators Posts: 21,504 Mod ✭✭✭✭Agent Smith

10 hours 3G talk time, 250 hours standby.
10 hours LTE browsing, 40 hours music playback.

Just looks like they added an extra iPhone rather than a budget one. Plus the 5S has the usual specs bumps and probably the fingerprint sensor as the big thing.

Wasn't the iPhone 5 $199 and $299 at launch? It's definitely not a budget iPhone but $100 cheaper than the iPhone 5.

I see they've gone with HTCs belief when it comes to the camera.

    Good call imo.

10% is a bit more than slightly!

It's seems that every year improved batteries get offset by increased processing power.

Yeah but this is replacing last years model. And it's plastic. So why no greater drop? It makes no sense. Cook is a bean counter.

Even better, you don't need to enter your password when buying things anymore! Just use your thumbprint. That's definitely huge.

It replaces last years model for $100 less than last years model when it launched.

In what business school do they teach that the best way to sell a premium product is by making it as cheap as possible?
