I think the camera upgrade is major.

Battery life would be a concern.

The finger print sensor was obvious given the Authentec acquisition. Cool feature to let you pay on the store with it.

Really cool that they've made iWorks free.

All in all, I don't think there's anything here that would warrant a change from the iPhone 5.

Decent upgrade, if you are into the gaming it would be worth it. But for everyone else, I don't see this as an instant buy. Fingerprint reader is nice, but that's all it is for now, has potential especially if they add NFC in the future.

I wouldn't upgrade from a 5, but if you've got a 4/4S, or if you're due an upgrade it's a pretty good deal - if you have the cash.

Bit much for the 5C me thinks, thought it was supposed to be a budget handset.

well folks. underwhelmed, or over the moon, or happy with this? i was only interested in a 5c if the price was reasonable. no sim free pricing but it doesnt look like its going to be cheap.

highlight was ios7. it looks really nice and some nice apps. camera looks really nice too. and thats it. fingerprint looks like it was "suggested" by an NSA plant. its a fancy gimmick and only something that would be a nightmare if it breaks easy.

what do you guys think?

I honestly do not know what the big deal about the price of cases.

eBay is there, you cant get cases for .99c.


I have used majority the iPhone generation and have gotten my cases off eBay and the last.

More importantly eBay accommodates individuals with all price sensitivities from those who'll will but t the lowest price to those who will spend a good hundred on just a case.

As they say whatever floats your boat.

The markets react to every piece of information. And this is information. All the top analysts will have had a price zero prediction of the launch. They will now buy/sell recommend depending on where this announcement came in relation to their forecast. Sales figures etc. will be strategically released in order to stem or maintain the stock flow direction in the coming weeks.
