Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You need a solicitor, find one who is good with employment law.

Keep a copy of the add. Ask for the reason of the termination in writing and see a solicitor. If it is as you describe then you will have a case.

By the way how long are you in the company and do you have a permanent contract?

Are you getting made redundant or just laid off?

If you were there less that 12 months, I'd just move on. No harm in asking a few solicitors for opinions, but don't pay for any advice at this stage. If you had over 12 months service get proper legal advice, again most will do a free initial consultation.
