Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cold water pressure in downstairs loo

    Hi Guys,

The cold tap in my downstairs loo has been acting up for a while. When we turn it on, it kindof just sprays a small amount of cold water, rather than a flow of water. I've just been ignoring it, and I was thinking that maybe the tap had a buildup of limescale or something.

Anyway, I decided to take a look at the weekend. It occured to me that the toilet in the same bathroom takes an eternity to fill too, so I'm wondering if that's related?

I know where the cut off valve is in my hot press, so I tried twisting that to see if anything changed. Interestingly, closing the valve completely stopped the tap in the upstairs bathroom completely, but the downstairs one we're having the issue with continued to behave as it always does i.e. a splutter of water.

Any suggestions on things to try before calling a plumber?

    Cheers!

    Ronan
