hopefully Reddan is getting all the brainfarts out of the system early

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,415 ✭✭✭Swiwi.

Reddan needs to calm down at times. No need for a quick tap there!

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Reddan you lucky boy. Mad decision. Boss to come on now, hopefully. Reddan will be wrecked by now anyway.

Gopperth the best of the Leinster backs anyway, kicking out of hand has been very good too

Murphy has shown some very good composure at times with a messy scrum, too many slipped tackles though

Dave K has looked sharp but hasn't really been involved enough, and the yellow was very poor too

Fanning having a decent game. Certainly able to play at this level. Could be a decent squad player

For the Scarlets, Priestland looks better than his woeful form of a few months back.

    What's the score?

    sweet!!!!!

    oh ffs lacey!

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

What has struck me, aside from the scrums, is the complete lack of turnover or calls at the breakdown. Lacey happy to let ball be slowed down but also ignoring a couple of legitimate turnover penalties for both sides.

    YES. Great stuff.

    That was beautiful.

Probably should have closed out my Scarlets -4 when they were up by 10. Ah well, we're looking at Leinster's first win in the opening game in 7 years so **** it!

    come on BP

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

Anyone else think Murphy's pass was a tad forward?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭Quint2010

Its the direction of the hands that always determine if the pass is forward or not. Hands clearly went back there so good try and excellent again from Gopperth. Scarlets imploding here BP is on..

Glad Murphys pass wasnt looked at by the TMO, some try though.

Give it crooked if you like, but don't make it obvious by standing in front of the second row too Boss.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Score is very flattering on Leinster. Some big performances carrying others. Ruddock has been very good. Gopperth has been really intelligent and kept things moving and directed everything. Toner has been everywhere.

How come crooked by leinster is a penalty, but av few min ago crooked by scarlwts was a free kick

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,221 ✭✭✭Ugo Monye spacecraft experience

Boss is sitting on the bench all night, watching both 9's getting pinged for crooked feeding. You'd think he wouldn't do it himself then!

We've had so many crooked put-ins and the laws now say it's a free kick, then penalty if it keeps happening, then a yellow card!
Scarlett's haven't been as bad as us.
Theoretically Boss should have been carded, he got away with it because he was just on the pitch.
