Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bonus point win away in Wales in September? I don't know how you've done it, but keep it up.

    Toner you beaut!

    YOU FOCKING BEAUTY.

Toner can move when he actually opens his legs. Doesn't get much opportunity!

    MOC for Ireland!

answer to Leinster's problems in the centre is clearly Devin Toner

    Gopperth is a class act.

The biggest perk in this match is listening to Jonathan Davis's exasperation. Priceless.

Leinster appear to have signed a gem with Gopperth

Am I being ridiculously one-eyed in awarding JG MOTM?

Ok, I've been suspicious for a while but who are you and what have you done with MG?

Its the direction of the hands that always determine if the pass is forward or not. Hands clearly went back there so good try and excellent again from Gopperth. Scarlets imploding here BP is on..

    Thank you and goodnight...

Score is very flattering on Leinster.

Is it though, given that Scarlets early try wasnt really one ?

There's the first knock on of the season from McCarthy

    Has to be Murphy

First of many to come. Great player when on his game, but he has tits for hands.

Hudson is electric with ball in hand

I'd have Gopperth. Played so much in his own half and under pressure and directed everything with boot and hand. Even aside from the points total, he has been a very calm and composed player. Murphy has had a belter though after early jitters.

Thought Williams was trying to break up that fight before he started throwing digs

For all that this is a great result, there is plenty for MOC to look at it if he wants to continue the infamous Monday review sessions.

Scarlets FB should have seen red. Punch to the face.

Three yellows definitely isn't a good start anyway.

    silly yellow from O'Connell

Few too many slipped tackles early on I'd say

More work for the Scarlets though. The wheels have completely fallen off in the last 10 minutes. Doesn't bode well for their season. An away win to start the season is a solid start for Leinster, but yes a bit to work on.

Luke's sitting in the stands so it shouldn't be that serious thank god!

Quiz question about oconnell for future use!

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Luke in stand not looking too upset.

Right call for MOTM. Very impressive for Gopperth to come away with the award considering how poor Reddan was inside him. Leinster might have made a very smart bit of business.

    Whoosh there :(

He has had a good game, Dave Kearney ok but Gopperth a more than capable H Cup starter

The big Q: can either Madigan or Gopperth move out to 12?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,257 ✭✭✭Hagz

45-20 least season to Scarlets. Good bit of revenge.

    Good win for the Champs.

Great hands from Macken for that try.

Watching the soccer, great result for Leinster!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,221 ✭✭✭Ugo Monye spacecraft experience

Serious performance. Defensive frailties in the first half but Leinster were lethal with ball in hand. if Macken can sort out his defense he'll be a serious player, as it stands though, it's just not good enough for this level

They can experiment with Gopperth there, but don't ruin our promising young 10

Complete capitulation by Scarlets. They were right in this and probably on top after an hour, looking like they'd move back ahead.
