Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sweden are better on the ball than us. I'm curious who people want Hoolahan to come on for? One of the midfielders that are there to protect the defence?

It is horrible to watch this,

The fact is we played some good stuff in the first half, we had something to build on. What were the players told at half time that makes them bring out all the bad stuff from the first half?

no no aah how you say no play football you ahh *hand gestures* hit ball LONG long no ahh ground ball

Losing by 1 or losing by 2 is the same thing. He should be in for McCarthy

We're 2-1 down. Who would you prefer to come on? I realise you dont like Hoolahan at all, but surely someone to try and get their foot on the ball and at least try and create something has to be worth a go. Any of the centre mids could come off.

Chris Hughton doesn't look impressed - I wish he was the Irish manager

Was going to say chris hughton has an awfull girley cover on his phone there for a sec. Not to mention filming a streaker. :-)

I don't think streakers are shown on TV anymore, no matter what league / international game is being played.

I'd prefer us to get an equaliser and not allow a superior footballing side to dominate us. They scored their second because our defensive midfielder didn't do his job properly, and yet you want a defensive midfielder taken off so we'll only have one on.

If we lose this game the FAI have to get a manager who can improve us and play the best possible team. A coach first and manager second. The players out there look like they need coaching.

Probably a streaker. They never show them. Don't want to encourage it by showing it on TV, cos then every tool would be at it and it would quickly become tiresome.

Lets try put a positive spin on this, if by some miracle we would have gone to Brazil we would still have Trap as manager and we would have been making up the numbers, if the score stays the same at least we can realistically start talking about the next Ireland manger and a new regime of Irish football

It made me angry, which is why I haven't watched Ireland since the Germany hammering. If I was watching and saw Cox come on ahead of a player like Hoolahan I would be pi**ed. Not worth it. When there is a massive overhaul and trap is gone I'll watch again.

If we lose the only positive I'll take is that we'll only have two more games under Trappitoni regime to endure

I'm surprised that Trap thought Pilkington didn't know the system. Seems relatively simple actually, defender long to striker, everybody else hope you get some scraps and defend when you inevitably don't.
