Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Sheridan for Williams
    Holland for DOC
    TOD for DOC 2.0

    Great BP try.

offloading has been superb all night

coughlan and williams who were poor for the try make up for it instantly with excellent work in build up to the try, both men having good games, especially happy for williams who has taken an awful lot of flak, fair play to him

Very impressed. Scrummaging will improve over time at this level but he's young and up against a tough TH in Nel and done well

Enjoyable game, lots to be happy with but a few things that need improvement namely defence and discipline though I think a few penalties were harsh. Cronin was superb in the loose and fully deserved his try. Murphy was my MOTM, no idea who was picked on TV, Williams was close to top notch tonight but needs to be close to that level in all his games.

Very disappointed with our defence for their two tries, we were porous. I know we left a few points behind us but if they converted their penalties it would have been a tight finish.

Some good points points, especially in attack. The players aren't only looking to offload in the right situations but they look comfortable doing it. I was amazed with some of the hands shown by the fatties, Cronin looks like another fantastic prospect, improve his scrumaging and he could even put Killer under serious pressure. A mouth watering battle between Keatly and JJ is going to unfold, would still have more faith in Keatly if we were playing Leinster in the morning but that could change. Defense was sloppy but as they get more proper competitive games you would hope it would improve. Murphy and Willaims were suburb also. O Mahoney looks like a ball of energy too. I am a happy man tonight anyway!

We seemed to have been penalised a lot in the scrums, haven't seen them yet in TV but I thought a few were harsh, their front row seemed to be up or driving upwards. I thought the pen against DOC for counter trucking was harsh too.

We seemed to get very sloppy/loose in the 2nd half, I think in the space of a few mins we conceded a try and kicked the ball out in the full twice, not good enough really.

TOD try saving tackle on the sideline after we turned over the ball on their try line was brilliant to watch, he watched the player and timed his dive to perfection.

Dineen went off injured hope it's a niggle rather than something that will rule him out of selection.

POM was interviewed on the sideline before the game, he's carrying some knock too as he had a noticeable limp. :-(

Couldn't complain about the scrums IMO, we were well beaten at a lot of them.

The DOC one was not a penalty in a million years. Because his shoulders were moving when he was counter-rucking (actually he was more being a nuisance TBH :P ) the referee deemed it dangerous play with the shoulder! Madness.

Defence was sloppy in the second half.

POM was interviewed before the game, he said his return is set for 'Rabo 4' which is the Dragons at Cork in three weeks.

That's more or less what Penney said earlier in the week as well, they'd need to dropping back into the team by then anyway with Leinster and two H/cup games up after that.

Did you notice the interviewer called him Ronan O'Mahony

Yes. If he called him Barry at least it would have been a fellow backrow!

Rabo site has McGahan listed as coach too, maybe Setanta linked to this.

Yeh but I think Hanrahan is the future after Sexton, and I don't wanna be reading Jesus Jesus in every match thread. Otherwise it'll be followed by a third Jesus from yours truly.

Something that annoyed me a little today is that some newspaper reports, & the sky website trying to downplay the win as we played an understrength Embra side.
More than a little unfair imo. It's not like we were anywhere near a full strength side either.
