Copy may, at times, award your account additional free storage through various promotions, such as a referral program. You must follow the rules and restrictions of any such promotion to be eligible for additional storage. All free storage on your Copy account is subject to the same restrictions contained in these terms. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, if a Free Account is inactive for a significant period of time, then Copy may delete any or all of Your Files. At least 30 days notice will be provided to the associated email address(es) on a Copy account in the event of changes to the amount of free storage, account termination for any reason other than abuse, or deletion of data due to inactivity.

Well at least they give you 30 days notice if you have been inactive for a significant period.

Wonder what they consider "significant"? A month? A year?

I suppose they can't have dead accounts on their servers taking up space.

There's a couple of guys on fiverr.com increasing space.

Did it last year with Dropbox & currently have 22gb there.

Just did it with copy & now have 200gb

Gonna use it for home movies backup etc.

Oh brilliant - thanks. I had done this with Dropbox and I have 25gb which is more than I need. However I was looking for an online backup service for my photos and old files etc - dump them all up there as a just in case. This is perfect. I've just ordered a fiverr one to get 200gb - perfect!

One question... I have Win 7 on a ssd (C) and install all programs on E.

The Copy app doesn't give the option to change the default install location & installs to C.

Any ideas how to change it?

You get the 5GB when the person using your link visits the link in the confirmation email AND has installed the app. I'm waiting for 6 people to install :mad:

I dunno, I verified the email and got my extra 5gb from your referral and installed the app this morning. There's nothing more I can do.

I see on the copy.com support forum that some people were not getting their referral bonus, but posting on the forum got it sorted for them.

OK, I've been talking to the guy who did mine on fiverr & he's going to do a deal if people mention me as a reference - "ou812 sent me" whereby extra space will be given, so go, spend a fiver (that's $5 - about €4) & get it ramped up. Mine took about three hours to complete.

Don't forget to mention "ou812 sent me" or the extra space will not be allocated.

isn't this a bit risky? Ive heard of people losing it after similar on dropbox. How much extra does he give as it's 200gb for $5 without any mention of you.
