Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Romantic Singer Needed for Proposal!

    Hi Guys,

    Heres the deal - I've been trying to think of a romantic way of proposing to my long suffering girlfriend this Friday coming, and I'd love to surprise her when she arrives home with some sort of romantic guitarist/singer (maybe latino style) in the living room while I go down on one knee.

    Where do I start looking??

    Are you sure this is a good idea? Some stranger (who you are paying) in the room when you propose to your beloved?

    Take her to a restaurant and slide a box with a ring in it across the table with the words "will you?" in it. Doesn't need to be an expensive ring either.

    yeah. kinda makes it awkward if there is other folk around. you kinda have to give her the option of saying "no". even if she isnt going to... good luck, tho!

    Can't help with where to look but I defo think you should propose whatever way you want and don't listen to anyone else. Check out www.blacktye.net if she says yes. Was at a wedding last Saturday and they were brill. Good luck!

    Good idea but you could end up with a Greek waiter trying to sing and play badly go for a cd,make dinner candles hot bath and a bottle of champaign and a bit of how's your father
    Assuming she give you a yes otherwise awkward
