    hi all....im lost here!!....ok im a mature student of 33....ivv taken the plunge to go back to college.....my btea has been approved.....ivv been on the job seekers allowance since dec2012 9 months....im wondering will my btea payment be 188 (as was on the job seekers) or 208???.....I don't seem to be able to find out...I would appreciate any help on this...cheers folks

    I'm pretty sure if you were getting 188 before then that is what you'll be entitled to.

    I have the BTEA and its is the same as the payment you where getting s €188 - bear in mind it will stop during holidays but if you are lucky enough to find part time work you can work away and get BTEA!

    Dont think so - just the long sumer break. Im "lucky" that I went from illness benefit to BTEA so I get it all year round.

    You get 188 and during the summer you either have to find work or go onto jobseekers

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
