    Hi I recently bought an insert stove I got it because I wanted to light it early in the day & let it smoulder with the vents closed but its still burning fuel very fast anybody any ideas why this wud be, is air getting in the cause???

    If there is a flame rising from the fuel with all the controls closed then there is air getting into the stove where it shouldn't be.

    Can you tell me the type and model and I might be able to help ?
