There's a stretch of road going to Bull island from the Raheny side of the coast road that's often used for people learning to drive as it's usually very quiet and has plenty of room for other people to drive past.
Baldoyle industrial estate might be a good place also, especially at weekends.
    best of luck!

It'd be good to get used to that general area around Raheny also as there's a test centre there in case she is thinking of taking her test there also.

If she's taking the test in Raheny better off practicing in that area. Bull Island is nearby and handy for practicing on the beach with plenty of room. Also industrial estates are good at weekends when they're quiet. You have Baldoyle and Newtown Industrial Estate close enough.

Thanks all, went to Baldoyle last night and it was grand to get her started!

Might get her a few more lessons also, any recommendations for instructors in the area?

Any recommendations by PM only please.

Might be worth checking the learning to drive forum as well
