Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have argued my points at length considerably on several threads as you well know. Calling me names shows the limitations of your own arguments.

You've posted long winded, rambling, steaming piles of ****e where you repeat the same nonsense which completely ignores reality and claim anyone who dissents from your views wants Ireland to lose just so they can say "I told you so", which is nothing short of nonsense and has become more and more transparent in the last year and a bit.

Brady can **** off too the Trap apologist.

heard him at half-time saying how at the press conference Trap said we need a result to maintain our seeding position. Brady said everyone laughed, like they didnt realise how serious it was.

FFS BRADY EVERYONE LAUGHED COS TRAP WAS THE ONE WHO PUT US IN THIS ****E RANKING POSITION .
Also got us up there in the first place to be fair

Put your hands on your hearts and be honest. There is no way in hell that we deserved to go to Brazil next year playing the dross that Trap thinks is football.

Del Bosque is on 1.5M a year Dunphy

Why do people keep saying Trap's reign has set back football in this country? The FAI and most of the sporting public couldn't give a flying f*ck about Irish football. Trap's reign hasn't set back football, it has wasted time in NT players careers. That's about it.

The next manager can't earn the same money as he is on. €1m per year maximum.

We have no hope of qualification, so we might as well just sack Trap now. He won't be managing us for the next campaign, so it makes total sense to give the new manager a chance.

Delighted we didn't win, as it means we can get Trap out and repair the damage the bastard has done.

    I like Dunphy but Spain's manager on €50k. C'mon!

We will be recovering from this qualifying campaign for a long time rankings wise. It makes it even more depressing that there's potential there for the best group of players that have been amassed since 2002...

Dunphy's talking out his hole in relation to Del Bosque. He's on at least 1 million a year.

Dunphy is on about all the players Trap has not given a proper chance to but who ??? Like seriously they aren't good enough.

What match was Dunphy watching. Green played half decent.. by his standards.

Agreed. He's getting paid anyway so it's not gonna cost an awful lot more if we do sack him.

Not sure exactly how much, but i remember reading a while ago it was around £1.5 sterling.

    Nowhere near €50,000. :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,591 ✭✭✭ambid

Wrong Eamo - I'm afraid Del Bosque makes €1.5m in salary not €50,000.

    http://en.for-ua.com/news/2012/06/20/151431.html

Dunphy uses inaccurate hyperbole instead of real facts shocker!!!

How does this man keep his job?!

Dunphy's a clown. Slating Paul Green because it's fashionable. He had a very good game. Ok, it was nothing spectacular but he did well with the role he was assigned.

Anyone expect him to be gone before the German game? Might actually watch it then.

No he'll hang on for his last paychecks. Brady talking rubbish now saying he earned the FAI money by qualifying for a playoff. That should be a minimum requirement for that salary.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

This is better than the match; not too difficult, granted!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,428 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Dunphy and Giles are really two prats.
Did they not watch the game at all.
Trap will go because his tactics are negative and he refuses to give youth it's chance.

I think it should be a complete clear out now. Trap, Tardelli, Dunphy,Giles, Bill...get rid of all of them. They have all lost the plot

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,325 ✭✭✭RoryMac

Trap did a very good job for 4 years as manager but really should have gone after the Euros. He needs to go now to allow time for the new manager try out players & tactics.

It's unfortunate that he leaves now with bad feeling but his stubbornness is a big factor in the poor performances

From the point of view of our rankings it is a major set back. In reality once you start to slip down the tiers you are buggered at qualifying for the finals of tournaments.

the players need more of a coach than a manager but we need a manager too.

    (Dunphy continues anyway)

I don't mind Dunphy being let off the leash here. It's a catharsis.

Dunphy and Giles almost make me want Trap to say

Brady is the only one who can put forward a coherent arguement that makes logical sense

    Dunphey being useless too!

Thats it for Trap. I had such a gut feeling Austria were going to win. Big deal though. I'm not worried. I just hope we have some kind of chance in your next qualification campaign.

Next Manager really needs to come in long before, preferbally before WC Qualification ends. Use the remaining competitive games, and friendlies to develop the current and future squad. Bring in new ideas, players, and tactics, etc etc, so that he has a system in place, and an understanding from all coaching staff and players, and visa versa.

No point bringing in a new manager at the start of a new campaign, and taking a number of competitve fixtures before the new manager beds in.

Well done, well done, don't deal with the topic at hand, dig up ****e which was pointless in another thread (because apparently young people dont remember watching football matches) and try and use it to detract from someone who disagrees with you in a completely unrelated thread.

    ****ing genius you are.
