Controlling One PC with multiple keyboards with KVM over IP

I want multiple users using 4 keyboards to be able to control a multimedia program running on one PC Remotely.

The video is sent independently so no worry on Video Quality over IP.

    Would something like this:
    http://www.kvmchoice.co.uk/detail_switch.asp?id=11138
enable me to go fullscreen into my multimedia program on my PC and have the 4 Remote users interact and imput data on keyboards?
I have custom 24 keyboard keypads.

I would be afraid I could not be in fullscreen and have to have a window open with their username etc....I wouldn't want them to do something to interrupt the fullscreen presentation.

I tried a wireless USB from Ebay already at €200 which didn't work and is going back so I don't want to spring for this at €1k+ if it wasn't going to work either.

    thanks

This may be out of the box and not 100% sure if would work but would be easy to test and cost nothing http://synergy-foss.org/ I use it to switch between 3 pcs in my home office.

To get the video you could use a 4 way hdmi splitter and hdmi over CAT5 baluns then this for keyboard switching might do the job. This also depends on how far apart your client devices are and what cabling is in place so YMMV

It doesn't sound as though having 4 keyboards active is the appropriate solution.

Have you ruled out software such as GoToWebinar? http://www.gotomeeting.com/online/webinar/internet-conferencing
You would be doing the main presentation, but could transfer keyboard control to each of the attendees when needed?

Or is your application a special case where all 4 users are expected to input into one and the same application window all at the same time?
