    Nope!

Unless you want to open the actual enclosure and move the hard drive (pretty sure they're 2.5" SATA drives in there) from the old style into a new style, it's not worth a toss to ya.

Decent info available from Microsoft's website on what your alternatives are.

Yeah I think that's right, mine is saying 192gb/298gb. You should be grand by deleting old games and stuff.

19 gigs is more than enough if you're getting a retail disc, it's an 8 gig install. :)

PS3 completely wiped, fans hoovered out of dust and bowls of covered ice ready to sit behind the fans for some nice cool air. Hope the fatty ps3 appreciates the love and care I'm giving it for this game!

Good call, I better give the fans on mine a clean just in case, when I was playing the last of us they were going mental, I can imagine the ps3 outputting a lot of heat when its running GTA V.

    The (modified) Sick-Boy Method:

Relinquishing junk life. Stage one, preparation. For this you will need one room which you will not leave. Soothing music. Tomato soup, ten tins of. Mushroom soup, eight tins of, for consumption cold. Ice cream, vanilla, one large tub of. Magnesia, milk of, one bottle. Paracetamol, mouthwash, vitamins. Mineral water, Lucozade, pornography. One mattress. One bucket for urine, one for feces and one for vomitus. One television and one bottle of Valium, which I've already procured from my mother, who is, in her own domestic and socially acceptable way also an addict. And now I'm ready. All I need is one final hit to soothe the pain trip to GameStop while the Valium takes effect.

So GTA is 8GB on the PS3? I have a fatty PS3 and just deleted a few things. Reckon 12GB should suffice?

Not sure if this falls under prep advise, but if you fancy catching up on the story from the previous games PSN have GTA 4 complete edition for €7.99 the package Includes the two expansions (Lost and the Damned) and (Ballad of Gay tony). I havent played the expansions so defo gonna give em a go myself, get me in GTA form for the big day :D

If you want the best storyline in the series, go with TLAD first. If you want random crap, blowing stuff up, that kind of thing with no interest in story, go with TBOGT first.

Took out the ps3 today to clean off the dust and stuff around it. Now when I go to play it keeps ejecting the disk:(:(

GTA IV broke the laser on my launch day PS3. The worst thing about GTA is that the game is constantly been read from the disc so im sure its stressful for the laser. Atleast on the 360 you can install the whole thing to the hard drive and not have to worry about a dodgy laser.

Black out blinds would be handy. Nothing worse than sun shining in on your telly when you're trying to play.

I was looking between there and adverts when I thought mine was fooked. Any of the cheaper ones are the older type. Xtra-vision have a 160gb model for 250 which is not bad

Would buying the PS3 GTA bundle be a shout? (This pack)

Not sure what it's flogging for in bricks'n'mortar stores though.

I picked up the 12GB for 190, a mounting bracket for the hard drive for 13, and just chucked my old 120GB hard drive in. Bit cheaper.
