Ideal moment of incredible high.

Jumping out of a perfectly good plane with a parachute was incredible. I was annoyingly happy with the world for a long time afterwards.

Off piste skiing is thrilling. Enough that a friend of mine broke his shoulder and managed to ski down the mountain with it broken (he had multiple operations to get it right again). Not as extreme a high in my opinion as sky-diving.

Catching waves when surfing was brilliant...

I was nothing compared to the birth or my first or my second child. Nature must release something into your system, whatever that is, if you could bottle it... I would not swap it for the three other thrills mentioned above, but I will introduce my children to these thrills when they grow up

Succeeding at sports also creates an excellent "high" from my experience.

That feeling of absolute calm and tranquillity post surgery were you're in a dream world coming down from general anaesthetic and they've begun pumping you full of morphine. Only to have it soon shattered when you become lucid, find yourself in hospital with a hole in your abdomen. Ow!

I've been doing it wrong, then. The first time, I woke up in a panic attack. The second time I think they over-dosed me and I woke up praying for death. It was like having 10 hangovers for 12 hours.

The only truly rush-worthy thing I've really done was 175mph on my old Hayabusa at night.

I'm not all that motivated by a rush. I hate risk, really. I like things more sedate and grounded.

I'd recommend the casual heroin brigade on here watch Requiem For A Dream if they haven't already. It's a lot more grim and hard hitting than Trainspotting.

I'm not suggesting people should try it. I tried it because I was curious as i was with all drugs. I actually hate heroin it contributed to the cause of my little brothers death only two years ago. I reckon people should keep well away from it. Nasty horrible stuff.

Ahhh the first time coming up on ecstasy has to be up there (although these days pills aren't really MDMA from what I hear)

I would say the most incredible high a human can feel however is a winning the lottery. Imagine the feeling that you had just won 100million euros for example.

Finishing Ocarina of Time. The day I got married, watching my children be born, none of those moments came close. Admittedly they have yet to happen but i cant imagine them being any better than finishing Zelda. I doubt I could handle any more emotions than it stirred up in me with any semblance of dignity.

The adrenalin hit when the first rocket goes at the San Fermin bull run after 2 hours of standing around on the street waiting for it and the relief when you get to the arena at the end in one piece. The buzz keeps you going for hours. The only thing that came close was chemically pure MDMA.

Yeah never tried it but my sister apparently had a long conversation with our dead granny after she took some salvia. Madness

Ya, you used to be able to get it over here before the headshops were shut down.

    Weird drug.

Sort of (although I've never had an acid trip comparable to my one time salvia trip).

It's a potent hallucinogen and dissociative that only lasts a few minutes. You smoke it and before you know it the world is a very different place.

Is a disassociative, strong strong disassociative but doesnt last very long, up to ten minutes. Is smoked through a vapouriser

When you get home look at some videos of people tripping on it on YouTube. Hours of fun :p

The hours and minutes immediately prior to childbirth are (imo) the most stressful in a person's life and the feelings you have in the aftermath of a successful birth are far more complex than mere euphoria. It is a mixture of joy and huge relief but also contains large elements of regret ("I wish X was here ...) as well as fear ("Christ, I'm not ready to ...). Childbirth is also a pretty serious Memento Mori. It is the most amazing feeling you will ever experience but cannot be considered as a mere "Incredible High".

Coming up on mdma at a giant European electronic music event. Then kissing the girl you fancied that you thought you never had a chance with at that same event. The good feeling lasts for days. Every time I hear a certain tune I am brought back to that same feeling and get a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach.
2nd best would be getting my dream job and sickening those who made jibes at me when I was unemployed.

Yeah. I thought about my parents, who are both dead, and wondered would I be alive to see this child grow up and (maybe) become a parent some day etc. Very emotional experience.

Doesn't sound like something I would like. I would hate the idea of losing control like that.

That's why I wouldn't rush to repeat the experience.

As you asked if it was like LSD earlier here's an analogy from a different site (originally about LSD vs. Shrooms)

With LSD you're the driver of the car; lucid and relaxed. With Salvia you're in the passenger seat and speeding out of control.

No, she really was out of my league! She ended up with a D4 rugby fake type which is sickening because she is so sound.
But that was my moment of glory I will never forget!
Alas there are plenty more games in Group B.

:pac: sounds a bit mental, especially considering I would never take acid for the same reason - I wouldn't like the whole tripping buzz at all I don't think. Not for me.

No such thing as out of your league. Leagues are a load of balls tbh. Don't sell yourself short ;)

You'd be surprised. First time I took LSD I couldn't believe that I was completely lucid. It's not tripping the way most people expect (or how the movies portray it). I was exactly as I am now (sober) but just more interested in wallpaper and carpets and abstract thoughts.

Once you get over the hallucinations and visual distortions (which get boring after a couple of hours) it's as sociable or introspective an experience as you want it to be.

Depending on my setting I've done everything from lying in a dark room analysing my life entirely objectively (and rationally), to staring at the stars talking about how the earth has a parasitic relationship with the rest of the universe, to chilling with mates having the best laugh over truly random topics.

Not suggesting you should do it, or that anyone should (drugs are bad!), but even just relaxing with someone who's on LSD is a hell of an experience.

I took an e once just to see what the fuss was about, done absolutely fcuk all for me. Maybe I'm naturally happy or a naturally boring bastard, I'm not sure which, but drugs aren't for me, and I'm quite glad that they aren't.

    Ah, salvia:eek:
I'd tried it 3 or 4 times before with no real effect but then - BANG, when it hits you it hits like Mike Tyson in a rage.
I was transformed into part of a zipper (the little bit you pull to be exact, very scary to begin with, very very intense, but ultimately a very enjoyable if somewhat surreal experience. Felt like years, but in reality was about 15 really strange minutes.

I've seen everything from paracetemol, to vitamins, to those little breath mints you get in a tin being passed of as ecstasy.
Handy hint - MDMA tastes like dog shít - it is not, I repeat not, minty fresh:D

Na, it was the real deal. I must be immune or something, all I've ever got from dope was a headache well.

It may well be technically possible, I don't know - but it certainly isn't likely. Far more likely is you took something else - pills are notoriously unreliable.

If you felt nothing it couldn't have been the real deal. It's not possible to take legitimate MDMA and "feel nothing."

Only gives a lovely feeling if the mutual lust is acted upon I think :pac:
