Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trying to fill out the above forms for a laid up bike. Send a email to motortax; no reply as yet. Calling them i end in endless menus. The vehicle registration certificate number, where is that on the cert. I presume chassis number is synonymous with vehicle identification number?

On the front page- for my Mille for example it's C10 345****

I've just done this for my car that's been off the road and will continue to be.

    Any other Qs?

did 3 yesterday myself: the number is at the top.

Seems there's a lot doing it, have to count up but I think it'll be five for me depending on whether I can bring myself to scrap one or two ..:(
There'll nearly be queues at Garda stations come the end of the month...

Yeah, the cert number is top of front page and chassis/frame number is top of back page..

Don't scrap them just to annoy them. Fill the system with SISO.

Decided to declare them all even though one is not much more than a frame :)
Just back from the tax office, the whole procedure was a piece of pi** don't know what all the fuss was about...

Incidentally , in the section in form rf 100a where you put the period of non use, I had no idea on four bikes cos I never taxed them , but the guard in the station was really helpful and looked up the last tax period for me and even filled in the section, top man!

I know the last tax date is on the notice if you get one but in three I got only one turned out to be correct..
