Probably more to do with the attention or the hype around the first customer gets on the day.

Around an hour ago I took this. Just left the shopping centre now i'll be back in the morning..cba queueing overnight..

Asked about stock levels and they didnt know much.

Oh dear, what is it about Apple Threads that not only causes such ructions but seems to enable people to think that they can invent such deliberate falsehoods as Apple issuing a previous model of anything just three months before?

No troll, i own me an iphone, never said anything about not liking the product, just don't get the buzz of freezing my balls off when i can more than likely get the week after

Read the post, i never said they release products every three months, you could have bought it three months ago and now start queuing for the next gen.

Like i said i own an iphone, love it, i'm just not a sadcase who wants the new thing day 1 so they can gloat and hold it up on the bus and think they are great. Its sad. (Not Just Apple Products)

Think I am gonna wait and see what offers Irish phone companies come out with and then see. If their only options involves going up to a €45 monthly tariff, they can forget it - will be heading to Belfast next month anyway.
