Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you reckon I could make a worthwhile profit if I bought 2?

Indeed! I'm jealous of you folks going up.

Probably wouldn't get my hands on one until Octobers pay cheque :(

..would make me wonder - if you felt so strongly against it, why would you purposely open up a thread about it and post here? Surely that amounts to being a troll or just trying to be a pest?

in fairness, the state of yer man, big ginger mallet head and all

Read the post, i never said they release products every three months, you could have bought it three months ago and now start queuing for the next gen.

Like i said i own an iphone, love it, i'm just not a sadcase who wants the new thing day 1 so they can gloat and hold it up on the bus and think they are great. Its sad. (Not Just Apple Products)

    Back on topic now.

Well, I don't know these people. Most people I know, they buy an Apple product, they stick with it for some time. Sometimes, they might be a little miffed if they buy a product and it's updated 3 months after purchase but, that's life.

Whatever your thoughts, your opinions, don't call people dickheads on this forum.

Couldn't really face an all nighter to be honest. I'm going to have to skip the launch day due to financial constraints but I'll have one sometime :-)

FWIW anyone who is considering doing the same for the iPad 5 when it's out, go to one of the big Tesco stores in Belfast instead and you'll have it at 12:01am instead of 8am. I did this last year.

Newry would be even better open 24 hours

Think they're allowed to recharge in the Apple Store.

Yeah, doesn't apply to iPhones but thought it might be of some use later in the year.

As long as it's not extortion you should sell it easily. You may only get €50 extra but hey, that will pay for the petrol for the trip.

It used to be easier a few years back when Ireland didn't get them at all, I sold 2 iPhone 4's after buying them in Belfast.

Went to bed at 8pm (thanks sleeping pill :P :pac: ) got up at 1:30am. Heading up to Belfast now. :D

Let's hope the queue isn't a mile long when I get there for around 4:30am.

Rumours of very low stock. Purchases might be limited to one per customer

Who knows? If they don't have them left in Apple you could also try the Carphone Warehouse for SIM-free.
