Recommendations re Media Player for TS files

Hoping somebody can recommend a media player for playing ts files?Recording programs off an Ariva 120 combo onto a medion 500 GB external hard drive.These files oftentimes do not play satisfactorily on Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player when I use my laptop.Any suitable conversion software?

just use CCCP its free and you can run any player you want

it site in your task bar and decodes the audio and video sor any player i normally use media player classic which is packaged with CCCP ive never had an issue with it.
