Seems HMV has gone into the current Xtravision shop so its not them taking the old one. Strange that its been letting agreed now nearly 2 months and theres still no sign of anything actually going in there.

just passed it earlier and saw they have the builders in and painting being done.... :)

wonder what is going in there?

They are talking about the clamping in Douglas on 96fm again, they really are destroying the village, Christmas will be a big tell on how busy it gets.... :(

I drove past earlier and it turns out they are putting in a Subway where the old xtravision was. I'd say Centra won't be happy as their lunchtime trade could dry up.

and we get yet another fast food joint on a road with no parking! not so clever clogs in subway, they would have been better off in the new Tesco center or the dunnes center imo...at least then you could stop in without worrying about clamping or charges!

Anyone know if there is something else going in there? or too early to say?

And while we're at it, anybody know what is happening with the old chartbusters? Building seems to be just rotting away doing nothing.

Nearly the whole side of that street is derelict. Chartbusters/O'Donovans/Centra/TSB building all empty.
If Subway move out all that will be left is the barbers
