Hey there Im currently in the process of scheduling some much needed dental work, which will be approx be 670 in total.

I am a full time student with 2 part time jobs, and was wondering whether I could receive any advice on the best place to apply for a loan? I know bank of Ireland have a good policy, but would the Credit Union be my best option?

    Feedback would be really appreciated!
    Thanks

What college are you at? There are student assistance funds for situations such as dental work that you might be able to avail of.

Thanks for the reply Rasmus! Don't think I could borrow that much from them, although I realise I could borrow half from the college and possibly half from the bank.
To be honest I'd find it too messy trying to pay off the college and then the bank.

I have found a dentist that offers a monthly payment scheme based on a recommended treatment, provided a deposit is payed. Unfortunately Im in 10 - 5 most days in college, and the dentist is located in Drumcondra.

    Hi,
I wasn't talking about a loan, but DIT for example has a dental fund which means they will cover costs for a student in need. It is means assessed.

Have you considered getting dental insurance just so you can claim?

The student assistance fund isnt a loan

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
