    Looking to get good second hand car, can anyone recommend any garages in co.sligo or surrounding areas? Don't mind travelling a bit.

    There's a few places around, I cant vouch for any of them as I've never bought acar second hand from a dealer.
    • Clancys, Carraroe
    • Quinn fix, Carraroe
    • Enda McCarrick, Collooney
    • Whitesides, Collooney
    • McCormacks, Carraroe
    • Egans Carraroe
    • Mullen & McLoughlin, Ballinode
    • Parkes, Ballisodare
    • Hendersons, Bundoran Rd
    • Daveys, Hazelwood
    • Currid Motors, Grange

    Out of that list Currids probably has the largest selection of cars, they look decent, but they do undertake crash repairs, so I'm unaware if any of their refurbs end up on the lot. I'd be wary about Whitesides in Collooney as I've heard a few stories about some problems and I'd avoid McCormacks altogether. I've known people to have had terrible problems with them.

    As a customer, I would recommend Mullen & McLoughlin. I have bought 2 cars from them. Mazda specialists, but have other makes as well.

    These guys reputation has been built over many years by only dealing with used cars that they know are worth buying.

    They might not have a big range in, but they are worth checking out, for a bit of friendly advice if nothing else. They also do servicing and NCT prep.

    i have bought of Currids could not highly recommend them enough Colin is the lad you need to talk to as for the crash repairs as far as i know thats a separate operation.
    plus there after sales help is great
