    Just saw that - it's all over Twitter. Must have fond memories for him after the Walker Cup in 2007 (3-1 record). That should draw the crowds... not that the event will be low in attendance!

    I don't know. Contending in multiple Majors and getting in to Top 10 in the World after just 5 years on Tour is pretty stellar.

    Actually. I think it's quite refreshing that he didn't mention his fans (or the man upstairs). Can you imagine Zach Johnson (or others of his ilk) doing the same?

    Great year for Rory. Apart from all his wins, he was extremely consistent. He only missed one cut all season (the Irish Open) and his worst finish in any other tournament was tied 25th.
