Heading down to Limerick this evening for the weekend.
Can anyone recommend any bars and restaurants for a good night out. Mix of lively and sleepy pubs would be great.
    thanks

I wouldn't call Jerry Flannerys lively. And you've excluded the Library, Flannerys, The Orchard etc from the lively list too.

It is hopping when they have bands!

Highly recommend the Cornstore for food and cocktails.
For drinks, Tom Collins or the White House for a few quiet ones. I love Tom Collins myself.
Nancy Blakes for a p!ssup. Busy but good mix of people
The Curragower Bar is lovely for lunch and a nice pintor if you have a car JP Clarkes in Bunratty is nice for food.

All depends on age group and what you are looking for.

We were recommended a steakhouse, but can't remember where it is. Near Savoy hotel

Probably the Hamptons, it's part of the Savoy, door is just to the left of the hotel. Personally I'd much rather the Texas steakout on the other side of the block.
