seefin, they're perennial and will last for years, just keep deadheading them and they're brilliant, i have them for years in different colours. :o

I find them beautiful in flower but then the flowers die off and they look quite scraggly, was thinking of getting rid of mine, does deadheading really keep the flowing going on them?

Supercell, i have them in a low pot and in the ground and i just get a scissors( kept for the job) and when the buds are gone i give them a good haircut, and and off they go again in a short time. Don't overfeed them, once a fortnight is fine, as you get lots of green and little flowers if you feed them more often.
They're lovely at the door as the scent is good.

Thanks arandale, i'll give that a go next year, the sissors sound like just the job. I wasnt deadheading as it seemed impractical so assumed mine were just no good.
