Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Super stuff, good result.....what did it for you I bet was when you were sure you failed, you said **** it and just totally relaxed and got on with it and done the bizzo.

As OP said its a great feeling....I too was a hell of alot more nervous about the bike test over the car but that is because I wanted it so much more.

    Well done!
I applied for mine over the weekend, nervous already!
How long were you driving for?
What type of questions were you asked?
Did you think it was tough or was it more nerves?

    Cheers,
I have the bike since Jan, but had a couple years experience riding 125cc bikes when I was younger, about 10 yrs ago.

He asked a fair few questions, such as:
-when should you use dipped headlights at night?
-what type of conditions could cause a skid?
-when can you overtake on the left?
-when can you cross a continous white line?
-what does a broken white line mean?
    -when should you not overtake?
-in poor conditions, which brake should you apply first?
-what does an island in the middle of a pedestrian crossing mean?

He asked me about 8 road signs, all easy enough..some noteable ones would be a pedestrian zone, clearway..the rest we obvious enough.

    He also asked me :
-how to know when to adjust the chain and how to do it?
-what to look for when inspecting my tyres?
-how to check brake fluid and oil?

The test is handy enough, nerves was the hardest thing to deal with. I rode pretty bad compared to my few practice runs coming up to the test..as Wondaboy said, after a screwed up my u-turn I was convinced I had failed..and although I felt seriously disapointed at that point, the nerves calmed down a lot and let me get on with things in a much more relaxed way.

I didnt time it, but I'd say the practical part lasted 40 mins.

Best of luck with yours, any other info you want just ask, cheers.
