Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kess73 has agreed to try and help keep you lot in order - please wish him good luck ....

At the same time X PyRo has stepped down as he's not had time to devote to modding in recent times. So I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his work in the forum

Ah Kesstrel, my wonderful little scouse buddy. I'm certain you'll do a sterling job. Did I ever mention how handsome you are? How your eyes shimmer, like Ravanelli's head in the hot Turin sun?
I'm sure I did, sure how could I not?

Funnily enough the little storm bringer is the more aggressive of the two you put up. :) The American kestrel (seeing as I did not even warrant a eurasian kestrel :P) is nowhere near as aggressive towards it's own kind as the Robin.

That's your free bird lesson for the day. :D

Good choice this, in my eyes. Have to say, I do like the modding team the SF has in place right now.

Fair play for taking this on, not an easy task I would think!

    A good choice.

I'd also like to thank him for showing leniency to me earlier today for comments I made in the Sunderland Arsenal match thread, provided I edited, that could easily have resulted in a ban.

    Best avoid using German then.:D

Used to live in a small village called Aidlingen, near Böblingen, when I worked for HP for a number of years after I first left Liverpool. Is only 45 mins or so from Stuttgart so my liking for the Bundesliga started once I became a regular at what is now the MB arena.

I have seen them play actually :). Saw them play against Stuttgart and Stuttgart II a couple of times over the years in "friendlies" and also some 20 plus years ago when they played against Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

Only saw one of the Stuttgart derbies...well....sort of, it was at one of the indoor tournaments. Loads of funny words in Swabian dialect, I must say :D

Stay classy? I just gave my opinion and I'm well entitled to do that.

Gotta agree with LL here, Kess is a fine choice for the role a very active user and one not afraid of an honest debate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,985 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Well I'm not getting into anymore than this but I have been happy with all the selections in recent times, sometimes you miss the thread welcoming them but I've always made it clear that I was happy when I seen the thread.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=74939970&postcount=12

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=79414606&postcount=21

And a couple of years ago we had a thread saying new mods were needed and I put up a couple of suggestions and said there was one person I didn't want to get it.
