Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ramsey is like a man possessed this year. Hope he keeps it up!

Rotten luck for Sunderland though, robbed of their chance.

On a sidenote my fantasy team contains:

    Ramsey (C)
    Ozil
    Giroud

    :D

Ramsey has always got himself into great positions. He's finally finishing them off now.

The Premier League get the result they wanted.

EDIT - Inappropriate word removed at the request of the moderators.

Paully actually does kind of like Arsenal if I remember correctly, he's right to be pissed with the way the game has gone for Sunderland.

If I was a Sunderland fan I'd be raging.

    Some AWFUL decisions against them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

It's always the way. It should be 2-2 or 2-1 with Arsenal a man down but instead one bad reffing decision and it's 3-1 and game over.

    Funny old game.

Having watched Arsenal vs Villa a couple of weeks ago; I am absolutely fine with this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

To be fair to Atkinson from his angle it'd have looked like altidore was being held with two hands and was going nowhere so he probably blew the whistle straight away but the players continued and then an advantage accrued leading to the goal chance. Pity but the ref probably blew the whistle well before altidore got through.

I'd be pissed too if I was a Sunderland fan, robbed of a goal.

I won't complain though, Ramsey brilliant again

They're a fantastic club and one my favourites actually. I have no idea what you mean by the Suarez incident?

I'm just pissed off that we have been on the receiving end of some awful refereeing this half, which is even more frustrating when we're struggling and could do with picking up points ASAP.

I overreacted a bit in the heat of the moment but I'm very pissed off with the refereeing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Don't worry. Altidore and Fletcher will score loads of goals for you. The ref wont do you every week. :)

Nacho on now. How many left backs do we need?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,500 ✭✭✭Drexel

Walcott was muck today. Should have got at least a goal cause he did fûck all else

Would have preferred if Myiachi came on instead.

The Arsenal kit reminds me of a Lidl bag for some reason.
    Good game though.

I wouldn't say he was muck. He did make those runs to get into those positions in the first place.

It was just a combination of awful finishing and good goalkeeping that he didn't score two or three. Typical Walcott.

Really hope Giroud is OK. Would sicken me to the core to see NB52 in our team again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,216 ✭✭✭Looper007

Please god don't let Giroud be injured.

    Well done Arsenal.

So disappointing we didn't get something from this game given how the second half went though. :(

Ref shafted ye, I dont think Arsenal would have won if ye went 2-1 up.

Ref had a poor game. It's worth remembering that Johnson's dive was missed and a penalty given for Sunderland. He was crap for both teams.
