GTA V Gameplay Discussion ***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***

I switched the shooting to R1 instead of R2. Can't pull off quick shots with with r2. Anyway, when im driving, I can't just aim the gun without shooting. Both R1 and L1 aims the gun and shoots it automatically. Is this because I changed the shooting controls?

Also don't have a radio dial, can only change the stations clicking left on dpad, have default controls for driving.

I'm in the cable car on the way up the top of the mountain. I don't know why. It just seemed like something I'd like to do 8 hours into the game.

That's normal, i don't think there is a way to aim and then shoot.

Hold left on the d pad,

Tapping left on the dpad will cycle the stations one at a time, holding it will bring up a radial select menu that lets you select whatever station with the right stick.

if you hold the dpad left instead of tapping it itll bring up the radio dial

Thinking of buying this but am unsure as I got pretty bored of gta 4.
What really bored me was that you had to spend forever driving to someone and picking them up then starting all over when you failed. And you would get bored with exploring after a while.

I'm guessing this new game is a bit better laid out

Awesome. The gameplay is a lot better than 4 (that wasn't hard!), and visually it looks great. Small touches are what make it... when he gets out of the water his clothes are soaked.

I robbed one of the gruppe 6 trucks when it had a marker on it, can I open the back or what?

Anyone find Grove street or is it even in the game? Loving the small things about this games i.e. car ticking over after driving it for a while or the wheel arch blocking a wheel from turning after some crashes.

They got rid of that. You have checkpoints in a mission now so if you do fail, you can either revert back to the last one (can't choose though), or start over.

Some of the places are modeled so well from the real thing. Already loving it, while by now, I was starting to dislike GTA V. I hope the quality continues. Great game so far. Laughing out loud at a lot of the conversations.

This is so, so, so much better than GTA IV. I constantly got taxis in IV, it was just boring. This is so much more fun to drive in, and there is a lot more going on. Only after discovering Trevor now, so I'm looking forward to the next few missions

Shoot the centre of the doors on the back and they should open.

Can you gamble in it? I loved that about SA, could spend ages in the casino losing loads of money and then having a crazy shoot out when I lost too much.

If it's there, I'm getting the game tomorrow.
