    Hi guys

Looking for a good baker/cupcake shop to get custom made cakes for a nephew's birthday. He's obsessed with Sci-Fi, Dr Who, Harry Potter, playstation games so I was something custom-made around those - any ideas?

I got some great cupcakes from this place last year. She's on the Navan Road, just beside the Halfway House.

EDIT: Just noticed that she's not operating any more, but she does mention some alternatives on her facebook page.

We've used Creative Cakes a few times now, think the lad that runs it lives in Tyrrelstown. Highly recommend them.

There's a new(ish) bakery in Ongar village that I'm sure would do them.

They're next to O'Malleys butchers if I remember correctly. We used them for a christening cake and they did a fantastic job. We supplied a picture of what we wanted and it was made and iced accordingly. Sure they'd do cupcakes to order.

I think they may be called Pavlov's but not 100% sure.

This lady in Littlepace does lovely cupcakes, have bought from her a good few times now - https://www.facebook.com/elektracupcakes?fref=ts

No connection to the business, just a satisfied customer!

Buns! All they are are buns! Or fairy cakes! I got them from the place Zaph recommended earlier, when she was in business. Needed them for events but the mark up on them must be massive. Over €1 each for small "cupcakes" and closer to €2 for the full size ones. I would have thought these cupcake businesses left with the Celtic Tiger?
