free bt sports????

    eh dunno if its just a mistake or what but bt sports 1 and 2 are on my box now but i havent paid for em. didnt check it yesterday as it woulda saved me a few quid goin to the pub for man utd game.

    again is this a mistake or have they felt guilty about takin espn off us:D?

    I can see them unscrambled on UPC 409 & 410, but there is a persistent banner at the bottom of the screen - 'please contact our customer care team to subscribe'. On the Horizon box pressing the 'Back' button normally gets rid of the banner but it's refusing to go away on the two BT Sports channels.

    It doesn't find those channels on a channel 'up' and 'down', you have to manually enter the channal numbers.

    Come again, what do you mean by 'back up'? Do you have a Horizon or the older box?

    older box, meant the "back" button and the banner on mine goes off automatically too

    Any interesting events on the channels this week? Next Premiership match seems to be Norwich v. Villa on Sat next :mad:

    Can only see 8 Premiership matches listed up to the end of November. Champions League is on terrestrial, Sky have the US and European golf sewn up so what exactly is the attraction of BT Sports?

    BT have the 12.45pm on a Saturday for UK & Ireland.
    Setanta Ireland have the 3pm match on Saturday for Ireland Only.
    They are the only PL matches you will see on these stations.

    Thanks, I forgot that Setanta was moved into the BT package. I used to get a free Premiership match at 5:30 every other Saturday last season :mad:

    So roughly two Premiership matches each Saturday in the BT package.

    Its not all about football....for me its the massive rugby coverage of the aviva premiership and top 14!
