Carra is class.

The difference between both types is just emphasis. As long as both CBs know what the other is doing and can compensate for it then its fine. Terry and Luiz dont seem to be able to compensate for each other, to use the example they used in the analysis.

He has a point. I would say the majority of full backs from bottom level up did start as either a winger or a centerback.

Sure, you can't generalise to the extent he maybe did, but meh, I wouldn't slate him over it.

That's great when they are playing in those competitions, however it is correct to say that both Luiz and Pique have had uncomfortable moments in the premier league as CBs. Perhaps they arent able to adapt either, in the same way as the more traditional CB doesn't adapt to a slower more tactical game.

True. Its looking more and more like a CB breaking forward can upset the balance of the defending team and that is something the 'British' CB seems unable to do.
