Ladder with buckets hanging outside Macroom

Hi all, Just very curious as to why is there a ladder on the side of the raod outside Macroom on the way to Cork with two buckets hanging off it. Its been there for months and is really annoying me as to why it is there, Cheers

I'd say its a rather feeble attempt to stop anyone interfering with the cowtail water pump that they're on top of.

I looked out for it today going to Cork. I didn't notice it but if it is near the 2 mile bridge I would agree with Gobnait.

LHS of road going towards Cork after filling station and just before the bridge.
Lot of 'Keep Out' type signs around, looks like a sort of scrapyard nearby.
