Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am having trouble connecting from my ipad to my link station NAS. It used to work fine until I got eircom efibre, now using Buzzplayer (which I always use) It cannot see the files on the NAS. When I try to open the settings page from safari it just times out.I have an Apple TV but this works fine I can browse and stream anything from the Nas using the Apple TV .

This is driving me nuts, any help would be appreciated.

It's definitely the wireless router your using that's the problem. It's a very common problem with Apple devices and Eircom routers for whatever reason.

If you have a password set try changing the encryption type and see if that makes any difference. Or maybe a factory reset of your Eircom router.

It's an annoying problem, but if its a wireless problem it's usually an Eircom router that's the problem.

Thanks for the reply, I have found a solution to my problem on another thread and can now stream and copy files from the NAS.
Here is what I found on the other thread.

Goto network settings->QOS-> Class Setup -> Edit default Queue

Change "From Interface" to LOCAL and then wired can speak to wired devices.

This does break IPTV systems though if you change LOCAL to the LAN port that the IPTV box is connected to then that works as well..

Lets hope Eircom can roll out a fix for this sooner rather than later...

That took me 3 hours to figure out... LOL
