    Hi,

I am wondering how much a child minder would be. We are in the south Dublin area and would be looking for a child minder to look after an 9mth old baby, two primary school goers aged 9 and 11.
May have to collect the kids from school the odd day, so it would be approx. 8.00am to 6.30pm looking after the baby and from approx. 2.30pm looking after the three children??

    Thanks

After school is usually about 5 euro an hour and full time care usually works out about 4 euro an hour but averaged over the 12 months so you pay the same every month. I reckon 12-1500pm if you got a childminder that gives significant sibling discounts.
You might be better off looking at nannies to come in to your home rather then a childminder,a nanny would be about 10-12 euro an hour and you pay their prsi as they are your employee.
