Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Its amusing that people expect much of an atmosphere at any of the bigger English grounds...........still..........as if it is a new thing.......

Man United fans at Old Trafford remembered there was a game on. What a terrible atmosphere.

How the fúck VP isn't interfering with play in the build up there is beyond me.

Take it though, United have been comfortable.

LOL at ITV ignoring the United player fouling the keeping thinking the Leverkusen players were complaining about RVP being offside

lol at your never ending bitterness, the replay is clear that they are looking for the offside, of Valencia

He didn't make any move toward the ball or show interest in it. Evra was off anyway sure

Yeah, that probably shouldn't have been a goal.

    Oh well.

You not see Valencia in an offside position interfering with the keeper? You're blind if you didn't!

Great positioning from Fellaini there. He's so bloody strong!

but the whole defence moved up to play him off, when he was in the box during at attack.

Val was also probably offside too.

Like I said you take these decisions, it's not United cheating or anything, just bad laws. (unless you're a ABU clown that is, in that case it's a conspiracy to keep other teams down, and all the refs and officials in England and Europe are in on it)

Is it not possible that the commentators really did think they were complaining about the offside?

They missed that Evra was offside for a few minutes like.

    Enjoy the ROTFLPYPASOTC though.

Well considering the cameras did pick up the keeper point right away to Valencia and not RVP should give it away

wait until the whole picture goes different shades of green, then start complaining

but he wasn't looking for a foul, like you erroneously claimed, he was looking for the offside.

    Tinfoil hat much?

He was moving away from the ball, he showed no interest in it. It happens a lot tbh

the defence wasn't moving up specifically to play him off, it was just moving up after they cleared the ball, natural!

The laws puzzle some, annoy others and all the rest of it, but nothing wrong with what RVP did there or the refs interpretation of it. Not seeing that Evra was offside is another matter of course

Im sure David Gill has seen to it that we get more then our share of dodgy goals this season anyway

I disagree with you Dempsey, given the poster's history of United related conspiracy postings

I agree for the most part but of a Champions League night for the first game of the group stage you'd expect the place to be hopping. I'm just not hearing it through my TV really. Pity really.

This is decent football United are playing, nearly 65% possession and no endless monotonous hopeful crosses into the box, actually playing ball.

Valencia sticks out badly in this style of play, hopefully we see the same tactics but Nani in for him some time in the future, it could be devastating.

Been impressed with Fellaini thus far. Goal shouldn't have stood, hopefully can grab another before HT.

RVP went down a blind alley there

Thought he was to nut the ref :)
