Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Only one point behind dortmund last year and 4 wins and 1 loss in the league this year, id imagine there better then what they showed tonight. Imagine hyypia will be livid with his defence given his career

    Classic brick wall from Wayne, just wont respond yes or no, in fairness he has had the stance all summer, whats the point in changing it now?

    He can hardly come out now and say he isn't happy and would like a move away, and on the other hand if he say he is happy here now and all that he will get hammered as people will be saying he is just saying that now to keep the fans happy etc, sure he would have come out and said that earlier if its what he really thought. He has again been appreciative of the fans though which is good to see.

    He may aswell stick to his guns now and keep his silence. It is irrelevant now

    so what. what does it really matter? Should football fans be surprised that footballers are mercenaries? should ManU fans be surprised that Rooney asked to leave a second time? it's a non-story, a gutter journo looking for a headline.

    I mean what's he supposed to answer in an interview like that? Lie? say yeah, I asked to leave I hate it here?

    If he lies, everyone knows he's a liar and it does nobody any good, only causes more of a furore. If he answers straight, again, more uproar around him and the club.

    He's just scored twice in the CL, and had his best game in a long time - in united colours, he celebrated normally and that's all there is to it.

    Handy enough win, could and should have been a bigger margin, thought they would have been a tougher test than they were. Great to see Rooney back in that kind of form.
