Newark airport is a 20 minute shuttle ride from Times Square.

For what reason? Its the biggest holiday weekend of the year in the Usa.

Thanksgiving holiday is on the 28th, so the entire weekend afterwards is absolute travel chaos. Its well known as the busiest travel time of the year in the Usa as people all flock home for the four day holiday. In addition the 29th is the traditional shop sales day. Huge. People camp out for days to be first in line for the sales. In addition there's a massive parade in NYC on thanksgiving so hotels will be jammed.

I wrote in another thread that the thanksgiving holiday is not a great time for anyone to be travelling in the us.
