    Good night!
I opened an account in bank of ireland and I sent a card ATM / Debit.
Can I pay the GNIB with this card?

The card is not Visa, no chip, no security code.
Example: Can I pay in Mc'Donalds with the card?

    thank you

    Hi Marcos Silva Filho.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

If you hold a Visa Debit card or a Maestro card on your account, it is certainly possible to use this card at an ATM, in shops and online. If your card is a standard ATM card, then it can only be used at an ATM.

If you hold a standard ATM card and would like to apply for a Visa Debit or a Maestro card on your account, please contact your account holding branch and a representative will be happy to provide you with a card application form.

For a full list of contact details and branch locations, please see here.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
    Laura
