    Hi all,

I've been exploring (very) many options for moving from Belgium to Ireland in a couple of months. We don't have a huge amount of stuff but Plan A was to bring our beds and a cot, plus clothes & toys.

Professional moving companies are insanely expensive and, while shipping on palettes is attractive, it's a bit of a logistical headache.

Renting/borrowing a van and driving is an option but very time consuming and not especially cheap.

Final possibility seems to be to get someone who provides a straightforward delivery service. This would probably involve selling all our big stuff - including beds - and just boxing up clothes and toys.

Have a price for this of around €75 for 30kg boxes/suitcases.

    (a) Does that seem like a good price?
    (b) Anyone driving their van/truck/lorry through Brussels in November might drop me a PM :)
