Analog cable recorders?

Can anyone suggest a cheap hard disk (or usb stick) recorder please to record the old UPC analog cable channels?

I had a great hard disc recorder that cost about €300 in Lidl that did this but it died and there doesn't seem to be anything similar available now at all. Also have a dvd recorder but it's becoming unreliable and the discs fill up quickly.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.

You can pick up Analog TV cards and USB sticks that will record to a PC cheap enough on ebay and whatnot.

Or a DVD recorder - most if not all have analogue tuners

Argos do this LG HDD/DVD recorder, not cheap. Have one myself, the last thing I recorded to the hard drive was the analogue switchoff last Oct. Used occasionally now to copy recordings from the Saorview PVR to DVD.

Currys had them on display too the last time I was in.
