Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Despite playing a very long season together last season, Mata and hazard looked like they'd never met before, no cohesion in the team at all!

    and yet we had that 30mins against Hull which promised so much....

    Thought a huge amount of credit should go to Basel. Defended really well for the duration of the game and took their chances when they came their way. Chelsea were a shambles.

    Far far too much creativity in the side, not enough tracking back from Hazard last night!

    This side desperately needs a top class striker to gel the whole team together.

    Its not that simple as a top class striker, it looks like it but we failed in so many arreas, CM, I think Ramires and Mikel would have been better then Lamps and MVG, Hazard wasnt good enough, Mata still looks rusty although the only thing thtat will improve him, game time, isnt coming anytime soon.

    We're missing a CB, a real tough battle it out leader and they're thinn enough on the ground anyway. Hazard and Willian both want to come inside and create, neither want to go down the line or stay wide, not nearly enough anyway, especially given Cole doesnt get forward as much as he used, well not at the same pace and on the other side, Ivanovic isnt a good attacking FB from open play.

    If we can Mata fit and playing CAM then Eto'o or Torres will get goals, we need width and good intelligent moves from the wide supporting players to pull FB's out and leave space either side of the CB's to slide balls into the channels.

    We've plenty to work on anyway over the coming months and what last night showed us is this team has all the potetinal in the world but its still a few paces off the best in Europe and we're still behind Utd in the EPL in terms of team work and cohession, IMO anyway.

    It'll take time but we'll get there, instant success may not happen this time around but it will come.
