Not sure if this helps but my waiting time for my iPad Mini 2 was shortened by 6 days to next week, and I ordered it on Tuesday :P

It is annoying. Obviously people who ordered on the 25th got theirs and everyone after has to wait, so they must only have had one big shipment and they're grouping our lot for the second.

You're just timesaving really, I had the HTC One. Perfectly nice, except for the subpar camera & the hugeness of the thing. Sold it & my iPhone 5 for a 5s within 4 months.

And I've gone the other way, not paying €800 for a phone, or €400 on contract. Ordered a Blackberry Z10 for €220 sim-free, so maybe a change is as good as a rest

Rang Apple about the phone order and why the shipping hasn't been decreased to 1-2 weeks and is at 2-3 weeks still. His reply is that they had to give it an extra week to accommodate it coming from overseas. Um, they all come from overseas... This Saturday will make it 2 weeks waiting

I ordered mine on the 4th, imagine my surprise when I got a text this morning saying it was out for delivery. Feckin' delighted! Was expecting another week or more of a wait. I have to say it's a great update from my aging 3GS. I'll miss my jailbreak though. But what can ya do
