    Hi guys,

I've got business meeting in Girona, Spain at the end of September. It's first for me and I was wondering if anyone could give some tips or advice on a business meeting with a Spanish company.

We are going over there as potential customers to become distributors of there products in Ireland, we have talked over the phone and they have told us they would like us to sell their products here.

I would appreciate any advice preferably from someone that currently deals with a Spanish company or a Spanish citizen that has experience in this.

    Thanks again.

We import from and export to Spain. Our Spanish distributors are great guys and real solid partners. Our buying experiences are very similar to Italy, if they are busy on the home market or a more lucrative market, the service levels and delivery times fall away. They also tend to jack the prices when they are busy elsewhere. To be honest, it seems to be a bit of a one way street, always in their favour. I would not say the same of Our Brit, German, Dutch or even Asian suppliers !

Will be interested to see your other responses... Maybe it is just in our industry.
