Yeah, the social club seems to be okay for what price stocks are now, but it's showing me as having shares in stocks I no longer have any in. That might be what's throwing it off.

How tempting must it be for the guys at R* to troll the sh*t out of the Stocks? Like, imagine if on October 24th they just decided to decimate the value of all the stocks? :D

Cashed out of PIS last night, for a return of 131% or something like that with Trevor, and for a return of 43% with Mike.

Will wait again for them to drop now before going back, absolutely love HAL and the regularity with which it goes up and down :)

I think if I cashed out of PIS tonight, I'd have made over 300% profit on it. Bought 9.3m worth of shares when it was $12.75 and it's almost at $41 now. Almost 40m I'd be pulling out.

Can someone explain the bawsaq to me? I thought it was connected to online play and not affected by single player yet vapid and fruit both changed because of single player!

I learned how to play blackjack by playing GTA San Andreas. Won a nice few quid in the casino in Melbourne when I was there for a bit because of it :D.

Now it continues to educate people. It's the series that just keeps on giving! :pac:

Bawsaq is connected to the Social Club. So even in single player, if a person's internet is on and they're a Social Club member, they can access the Bawsaq and their actions can affect the stock prices.

Even before Online started, Bawsaq was active and changing because of people's actions in single player, so long as the Social Club was active.

But the single player still drives it? Vapid shot down for me after that mission.

I'd say it changes for each person for certain missions (eg. after you finish the story or a while after that mission, they'd match with everyone elses), but primarily, its ups and downs are controlled by people signed in to the Social Club while playing, whether in Online or Single Player.

What's the story with the Tinkle side-mission? Some people made a profit on it, whereas I lost every cent!

I am minus a million over two characters after following twinkle advice, down 24% looks like I'm in it for the long haul

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,596 ✭✭✭AIR-AUSSIE

Have a bit of a problem. Put all three characters' money into Gopostal as made plummet to $12. Except now it won't increase. I've tried attacking PostOP Hq and trucks but that seems to just decrease the value of Gopostal shares even more. Anyone have any ideas?

so i finished the main story and merry weather has dropped 25% is it worth buying or are they goosed ?

Ha! Trevor just had some of the best lines/scenes in the entire game last night.

At the Paleto Bay bank heist
"Hey you, generic goon! What was your first score?" [later] "Wow, generic gon did alright!"

    Then driving to Martin's house
him crying with "If You Leave Me Now" on the radio and him saying "I've [sob] never been [sob] so happy or [sob] so sad! He [sob] mistreats you!"

    :D

Piswasser seemed to be slowing down on Friday, had barely increased in 2 days. Took all my money out of it, but when I realised I still didn't have enough to buy the rest of the properties, threw it all back in. Good thing too, it jumped by over $10 per share over the weekend.

Anyone know if Redditors are planning another market crash for any stocks soon? If I could triple my money for each character I'd be set.

Not sure if they'll be doing another one but if they are it will be posted on this page.

Ah, thanks. Didn't know there was a separate subreddit for it

I thought that attempt at making pis crash was a failure. I took all my money that I invested at 10 dollars per share out and nothing changed. It just keeps getting stronger.

I'd have a much bigger profit now if I had of just left it in.

Yeah I've been very tempted to just pull all out several times over the past week, but it just keeps climbing. Went up over $5 per share today already.

I sold at $10 when everyone on Reddit was doing it. Bought back in at around $14 and havent touched them since. Have about $150m profit from $40m

Did a bit of calculating. I think I need Piswasser to go up to about $121.50 to be able to buy the golf course. Definitely doable, and it has been rising a lot the past few days.

Actually, HAL has shot up and tripled over the past two days on Xbox. The PS3 price for it is where it was just before that. Could it be a sign that it might shoot up on PS3 in a similar way soon? Might create a separate save file with all my money in HAL instead.

Is there any point in getting the golf course? I'm almost regretting getting any properties tbh.

Pisswasser has been going up and up consistently, I hope everyone's had money on it and selling shares and reinvesting everything back into it every day! Don't just leave it sit there, work that money.
