We have other kids alright. I have 2 more with my partner and she had 4 from a previous relationship. I know what your thinking lol. We have 7 kids in total including Darragh. You know big family and they drive you mad sometimes but you wouldn't be without them.

They understand. We sat them down a couple of months ago and explained to them that their little brother is going to be special. They were great about it. The older ones like looking up about his condition and learning about it and they have found some teqnuiqes to play with him. Even though he has no eyesight or hearing he knows they are there and he gives them a smile lol

Hi guys, Darragh is doing well. He was taken off the morphine this morning and seems to be coping well without it. They doctors are giving him a break for a few days now before they start examining him again. They will be looking at his bowels them as they think there might be holes around the bowel area so we just have to take things day by day.
The little guy wants to say hello to you all.

I'm so proud of him. It is very hard to see him going through all this but he has a strong heart. He has just fought off everything that has come at him. He is a real Celtic Warrior.

    Hi guys,
Darragh is coming home today. Hopefully it will be a long stay. His stomach seems to be normal and he is up to nearly 9 pound weight. He is at his highest feed now since he was born so I hope he keeps going.
When I get him him I will keep you all updated in his progress.

Just read this thread and just wanted to wish you all the vest. What a little fighter you have there! And he is so cute! I can't imagine how you've coped with it all - i couldn't imagine the pain and upset of having such a sick child. You're made sure my 3 are getting extra cuddles today. Good luck with it all. Sending you lots of good wishes.
