Was that based solely on the butterfly? Because that was the only compliant and they raved about every other element of Emer's "bake"...

This is what annoys me about the judging on this, tell us a bit of detail about each so it doesn't just look like they've already decided who's going to win.

I'd say a No Baby........

I want a proper ICA "esque"woman - with all the attitude that would cut the viewers in two with a proper idea of how it should be made, none of this "yadiya" carry on.......posh totty now at this stage......

And show, us the viewers, how it should be made?.....

And, on another note, Paul would like to be "blown out of the water" - he's no mentor........imo.

Ah, look back through this thread Baby, we've (not just me) have asked the same question.

Catherine is not on the market apparently, I watch her on TV3 yesterday , she was reviewing books, I'd say this in not her cup of tea.......more's the pity

A dose of common sense would be a great help here or a couple who have chemistry - Lily and Paul are not doing it (imo) no more than Paul or Biddy......Where did Biddy even come from btw??... She was no icon of the baking world as far as I knew?
